N-2002-079 <br />03 <br />INSURANCE ON FILE <br />WORK MAY PROCEED <br />UNTIL INSURANCE EXPIRES <br />//I n / 2_ <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL <br />DATE: <br />AMENDMENT TO <br />CONSULTANT AGREEMENT <br />THIS AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT AGREEMENT, is entered into on <br />�," I t± , 2002, by and between Martin Torres, a sole proprietor <br />("Consul t") and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation of the <br />State of California ("City"). <br />Recitals: <br />A. The parties entered into Agreement N 2001-109, (hereinafter "said Agreement') by <br />which Consultant has instructed students in Karate. <br />B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to <br />amend said Agreement for an additional one year term and to increase the <br />compensation to cover services during the extended term. <br />Wherefore, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and subject <br />to all the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this <br />Amendment to Consultant Agreement, the parties agree as follows: <br />Scope of Services. Consultant shall perform those services as set forth in Exhibit A <br />to this Amendment to Agreement. <br />2. Section 2 a. Compensation, shall be amended to read as follows: <br />"City agrees to pay, and Consultant agrees to accept as total payment for its services, <br />the rates and charges identified in Exhibit A. The total sum to be expended under this <br />Amendment to Agreement shall not exceed $10,000 during the extended term of said <br />Agreement." <br />3. The term of said Agreement shall be extended to June 30, 2003. <br />4. Except as hereby amended, all terms and conditions of said Agreement shall remain in <br />full force and effect. <br />
