Guy, Clerk of the Council: one, from the <br />Clerk dated January 15, 1992, noting the boundaries proposed by staff did not conform to <br />County precinct boundaries in all instances <br /> <br />The following persons opposed the boundary adjustments proposed by staff, and urged the <br />Council to comply with the minority protection provisions of the federal Voting Rights Act in <br />the adjustments of ward boundaries: <br /> <br />Sal Sarmiento, 950 W. 17th Street, Hispanic Council for Fair Elections <br />Art Montez, 8283 Mulberry, Buena Park, Hispanic Redistricting Committee <br /> (presented alternative map) <br />Conrad Diaz, 601 W. 17th Street, LULAC <br />Zeke Hernandez, 1238 W.
