The parties entered into that certain agreement entitled AGREEMENT FOR <br />CONSULTANT SERVICES dated June 5, 2000, (hereinafter referred to as "said <br />Agreement") by which CONSULTANT has provided psychological evaluation and <br />counseling for the Santa Ana Police Department. <br /> <br />B. The parties wish to amend the compensation term of said Agreement in order to <br />compensate the CONSULTANT for his increased rate of services. <br /> <br />WHEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective covenants and promises <br />hereinafter contained and made, and subject to all of the terms and conditions of said <br />Agreement as hereby amended, the parties do hereby agree as follows. <br /> <br />A. Section IV, the "Compensation" term of said agreement is amended to: <br /> <br />IV. COMPENSATION <br /> <br />In consideration for CONSULT ANT services, CITY shall pay CONSULTANT an <br />hourly rate as follows: <br /> <br />1. For complete preemployment psychological evaluation, CITY agrees to pay <br />CONSULTANT four hundred dollars ($400.00) per applicant. <br />2. For complete post-traumatic psychological incident review, fitness for duty <br />review and crisis intervention, CITY agrees to pay CONSULTANT the hourly <br />rate of one hundred and forty dollars ($140.00). <br />3. For testimony in court and court preparation, CITY agrees to pay CONSULTANT <br />the hourly rate of two-hundred dollars ($200.00). <br />4. For SWAT consultation and training, CITY agrees to pay CONSULTANT the <br />hourly rate of one hundred and forty dollars ($140.00). <br /> <br />B. Except as hereinabove modified, the terms and conditions of said Agreement <br />remain unchanged and in full force and effect. <br /> <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Amendment to <br />Consultmlt Agreement on the date and year first written above. <br />
