He also encouraged the <br />listening audience to forward complaints concerning cable service, in writing, to members of <br />the House of Representatives and the President. <br /> <br />Paul Le, 1814 W. Charlton, reported problems with expanding his business on Bristol Street <br />and was referred by the Mayor to the Executive Director of the Community Development <br />Agency for assistance. <br /> <br />John Raya, Rancho Santiago College Board member, urged the Council to assume the <br />leadership in addressing the City's "quality of life" issues, asked the community to unite in <br />the fight against crime, requested the City to restore the earmarking of Utility Users tax <br />revenues for public safety programs, and supported the Santa Ana Gang Prevention 10-point <br />plan proposed by Al Amezcua. (See Minutes page 98.) <br /> <br />A1 Amezcua, 106 W. Fourth Street, provided additional suggestions regarding suppression of <br />gang activities in the City, and urged the Council to proceed as rapidly as possible in <br />implementing gang prevention activities. <br /> <br />In response to a question from Susan Ales, 2138 N. Candis, the City Manager indicated a <br />date had not yet been established for balloting in the Washington Square Neighborhood <br />regarding the Traffic Plan, but that he would advise her of such date well in advance. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 118 APRIL 20, 1992 <br /> <br /> <br />
