FOR <br />VETERINARY SERVICES <br /> <br />~.~~ <br /> <br />ITY MANAGER <br /> <br />CONTINUED TO <br /> <br />FILE NUMBER <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br /> <br />Direct the City Attorney to prepare and authorize the City Manager and the <br />Clerk of the Council to execute an amendment to the agreement with <br />Community Veterinary Hospital, Inc., to provide veterinary services for <br />police service dogs for an additional one year term in an additional <br />amount of $7,500, for a total aggregate amount not to exceed $17,500. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />In May 2005, Community Veterinary Hospital, Inc. was contracted to provide <br />veterinary services for the police service dogs for a one-year term. <br />Community Veterinary Hospital, Inc. provides physical examinations, <br />evaluations, vaccinations, and all other necessary treatment for the <br />police service dogs. Community Veterinary Hospital, Inc. has performed <br />satisfactorily and staff recommends amending the agreement for another <br />one-year term. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br /> <br />Funds will be budgeted in <br />Contractual Services account <br /> <br />the FY 06-07 Police Patrol <br />(account no. 011-337-6291). <br /> <br />Services <br /> <br />Other <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FUNDS AND ACCOUNTS: <br /> <br />~lJ~lC0~- <br /> <br />Paul M.
