Paul Le, 1814 W. Cubbon, requested he be permitted to use his property at 810 S. Bristol <br />Street for a lawnmower shop until Bristol Street was widened and was referred by Mayor Pro <br />Tem Pulido to staff for assistance. <br /> <br />Donald Bryant, 13942 W. Minter, requested the City review its procedures regarding <br />enforcement of the "no camping" ordinance, particularly as the cold weather season <br />approached. The Mayor requested staff conduct such a review. <br /> <br />Kam Ye, 1701 Linwood, requested the Council assist him expedite the reopening of Kam's <br />Restaurant on Seventeenth Street. Mayor Young referred the matter to staff and requested <br />the City Manager provide the Council with a memo describing the circumstances of the case. <br /> <br />Eric Alvarez, P.O. Box 9167, Anaheim, commended the Santa Ana City Councilmembers <br />for their professionalism and thanked them for the opportunity of working with them during <br />the cable broadcasting of Council meetings. <br /> <br />Margaret Farris, 15200 S. Magnolia, #43, Westminster, reported continuing threats to her <br />personal safety. <br /> <br />Dan Salceda, 14 Rimrock, Irvine, reported he had received conflicting information from two <br />City Departments regarding his property on Shelton Street and was referred by the Mayor to <br />the City Manager for assistance. <br /> <br />Jim Miller, Shelter for the Homeless, 8291 Westminster Ave., Westminster, requested <br />clarification regarding enforcement of the "no camping" ordinance and was referred by the <br />Mayor to the Police Chief for assistance. <br /> <br />90.B. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />In response to Councilmember Norton's inquiry, Community Development Agency Executive <br />Director Cindy Nelson clarified that no change had occurred with regard to the Arena Project <br />and that she would inform Councilmembers forthwith should the Arena Partnership submit a <br />formal request for reimbursement of development expenses. <br /> <br />Councilmember Acosta requested that a recognition be prepared for Bill Gallardo, a Uniform <br />Code Appeals board member who had recently passed away. The Mayor requested the Clerk <br />of the Council prepare such a recognition. <br /> <br />Councilmember Acosta also admonished the Planning staff to be more helpful to its <br />customers. <br /> <br />Councilmember McGuigan reported unsightly storage at 3300 W. First Street. She also <br />encouraged members of the listening audience to attend the L.A.
