American Hot <br />Food Systems was selected based upon its superior level of service, <br />product selection and maintenance support. To date, their performance has <br />been satisfactory. <br /> <br />The current vending machine contract at The Depot has been on a month to <br />month with the Cafe Express deli at The Depot. Cafe Express has committed <br />its resources to improving the deli aesthetics and services and will, <br />therefore, relinquish the vending machine operations at The Depot. <br /> <br />Staff is recommending that an amendment be executed with American Hot Food <br />Systems to provide beverage and snack vending services at The Depot at <br />Santa Ana based on its service level and product selection. The City will <br />receive twenty five percent of the gross revenue generated by these <br />machines. <br /> <br />258-1 <br />
