<br />Resolution for Grants <br />for Blocks Program <br />May 2, 2006 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />Recently, a resident approached staff for the purpose of making a <br />financial gift that would be disbursed to recipients of the annual "Most <br />Beautiful Yard Competition." This program is also administered by the <br />Community Development Agency and provides for each of Santa Ana's <br />neighborhood associations to nominate homes for recognition. By amending <br />this program, it will allow greater flexibility to accept financial gifts <br />from the private sector to support community building and leadership <br />training programs associated with our Neighborhood Improvement Program. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br /> <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br /> <br />{1:.
