COMMENTS <br /> <br />90.A. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Margaret Fan:is, 15200 S. Magnolia, reported that Jeff Hawkins was making threats to her <br />personal safety and requested the assistance of the City in arresting Jeff Hawkins. <br /> <br />90.B. CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Councilmember Norton wished everyone a "Merry Christmas" which was echoed by all of <br />the Councilmembers. <br /> <br />Councilmember Mills requested that the Council meeting scheduled for December 23, 1992 <br />be cancelled. <br /> <br />Motion: Cancel the scheduled Council meeting of December 23, 1992. <br /> <br /> MOTION: Mills SECOND: Pulido <br /> <br /> (Motion approved by the unanimous informal consent of the Council) <br /> <br />Councilmember Moreno requested that the specifications for the pending refuse collection, <br />disposal and recycling contract be modified to provide for a four-year (in lieu of a five-year) <br />contract. <br /> <br />Motion: Approve. <br /> <br /> Placement of specifications for refuse collection, disposal and recycling on the <br /> January 4, 1993 Council agenda for consideration <br /> <br /> ABSENT: <br />The motion failed. <br /> <br />MOTION: Moreno <br /> <br />VOTE: AYES: <br /> NOES: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> SECOND: Mills <br /> <br />Mills, Moreno <br />Lutz, Norton, Pulido, Richardson, Young <br /> <br />Councilmember Moreno pointed to the number of contract awards to non-Santa Ana <br />companies and requested the Council consider a Charter amendment which would provide <br />incentives to Santa Ana vendors to bid on City contracts for goods and services.
