The HSPTAP provider <br />is the National Criminal Justice Association NCJA <br /> <br />This program helps States and local jurisdictions with the assessment <br />process, the ability to conduct assessments, and the development of a <br />comprehensive homeland security strategy. <br /> <br />This new initiative facilitates terrorism prevention efforts such as <br />collaboration, information sharing, risk management, threat <br />reco nition, and intervention. <br />This project replicates programs that enhance capabilities for <br />analyzing the strategic and operational information needed to respond <br />to terrorism and rotect critical infrastructure. <br /> <br />This program offers planning support for multi-jurisdictional terrorism <br />response using innovative software tools. <br /> <br />ICT AP enhances the interoperability of public safety communications <br />with regard to CBRNE terrorism threats. <br /> <br />This program assesses the needs of port/mass transit agencies in <br />preparing for and countering post-9J11 terrorist threats. <br /> <br />OPET AP provides equipment-specific training on CBRNE detection, <br />decontamination, and personal protective equipment (PPE). <br /> <br />This project deploys teams on short notice to support targeted projects <br />such as identifying equipment needs or equipment procurement plans. <br /> <br />This program provides specialized assistance to enhance state and <br />local strategies to prevent, respond to, recover from, and manage <br />issues related to an hazard, includin terrorism. <br /> <br />For additional information, see AppendiX G: HSPTAP of this solicitation, OOP's online <br />TA site at htto:llwww.oio.usdoi.aov/odo/ta.htm under the Catalog link, or by contacting <br />CSIO. <br /> <br />Lessons Learned Information Sharina ILLlS) System <br />LUS is a national, online secure network located at httos:llwww.LUS.aov that houses a <br />collection of peer-validated lessons learned, best practices, and MRs from exercises <br />and actual incidents, and other relevant homeland security documents. LUS is <br />designed to help emergency response providers and homeland security officials <br />prevent, prepare for, respond to, and recover from acts of terrorism.
