Project(s) to be accomplished with funds provided during the grant period, for <br />example: <br />o Establish an urban search and rescue capability (i.e., heavy rescue team, <br />etc.) <br />o Develop and institutionalize a law enforcement training program in state or <br />local academies and ensure that all law enforcement officers are trained to <br />the awareness level. <br />o Establish a disease surveillance system in all area hospitals. <br />o Establish, expand, and enhance Citizen Corps Councils and related <br />program initiatives in the community <br />(Note: projects listed must support a specific goal or objective in the State <br />Homeland Security Strategy.) <br />. List the SHSS goal or objective that is being supported by the project. <br />. Identify each of the grant program areas from which funding will be utilized to <br />complete the project and the amount of funds utilized from each program area: <br />o SHSP <br />o UASI <br />o LETPP <br />o CCP <br />o EMPG <br />o MMRS <br />(Note: individual projects may be supported with funding from more than one <br />grant program area.) <br />.
