Pat Whitaker presented the two remaining residential policies, noting the Plan required <br />property management training and certification for multi-family projects and encouraged <br />consolidation of ownership and/or management for contiguous multi-family projects. <br />Councilmembers discussed methods of distributing information to increase tenant awareness <br />regarding property management and maintenance. <br /> <br />Ken Adams presented the institutional policies of the Master Plan: <br /> <br />- encourage physical development of school sites which meet or exceed state <br /> and City development standards; <br />- ensure City projects meet or exceed standards and serve as development <br /> "models"; <br />- commit to developing the entire Bowers Museum District; <br />- ensure that new government Civic Center projects integrate into the <br /> Downtown and Midtown areas; and <br />- commit to a focus on arts and cultural uses in the City. <br /> <br />Redevelopment and Real Estate Manager Bob Hoffman provided the Council with statistics <br />regarding return on investment of cultural arts dollars. <br /> <br />Councilmember Richardson stated the lack of school site amenities was due to insufficient <br />funding. <br /> <br />Robyn Uptegraff thanked the Councilmembers for their attention to the Master Plan.
