Judith Ware, Ware Disposal Company, Inc., expressed concern that the Request for Proposal <br />issued by the City for trash collection and recycling services effectively eliminated small <br />business competition. <br /> <br />Dolores Otting, Five Star Rubbish, cited specific clauses in the Request for Proposal which <br />caused her concern. <br /> <br />Madeline Arakelian, Southcoast Refuse Corporation, complained that the Request for <br />Proposal did not allow bids originated by the trash haulers. She also expressed concern that <br />the City was violating her company's right to be a recycler. <br /> <br />John Raya, 4618 W. Hollyline, opined that a prompt apology from the Council regarding the <br />political mailers would have been preferable and urged the Council to carefully weigh the <br />proposal to close the McFadden Branch Library. <br /> <br />Miles Leach, 2025 W.
