Whitaker, Ward 5 representative to the <br />Library Board <br /> <br />SPECIAL PRESENTATION <br /> <br />CALTRANS schedule on the I-5 widening <br />presented by: <br /> <br />Barry Rabbitt <br />Deputy District Director of Construction <br /> <br />Following the presentation, Councilmembers discussed traffic impacts on local streets <br />resulting from the I-5 widening. With the Council's unanimous informal consent, the Mayor <br />requested staff investigate closing Santa Clara to westbound traffic, but keeping Santa Clara's <br />eastbound traffic open, at the intersection of Broadway and Santa Clara during the closure of <br />the Main Street bridge. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />Motion: Approve staff recommendations on the following Consent Calendar Items. <br /> <br />Councilmember Mills registered an abstention on Item 22.A.
