Carriage Drive Fax: (714) 545-3311 <br />Santa Ana, CA 92704 Email: gayl@usrigging.com <br />Mr. Gaylord Whipple is the C.E.O. of U.S. Rigging Supply. U.S. Rigging Supply has <br />been manufacturing wire rope assemblies, accessories and Tree-Guy staking systems for <br />over 28 years. The company's testing and quality control has been surveyed and <br />approved by the U.S. Department of Defense, aerospace contractors and commercial <br />OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers). Its sister company, Pelican Rope Works, <br />has been manufacturing superior quality braided synthetic ropes for over 22 years. <br />Together, both companies provide the Arborist and landscaping trades with an unbeatable <br />combination of service, safety lanyards, flip lines, carabiners, fittings and attachments. <br />Mr. Whipple has been in business since 1974. He started initially with U.S. Rigging <br />Supply, but decided to expand when one of his suppliers went out of business, and he <br />opted to purchase the company. This marked the beginning of Pelican Rope Works. <br />Both companies have approximately 30 employees, most of whom live in Santa Ana, and <br />take advantage of the Enterprise Zone tax credits. <br />Mr. Whipple a current member of the Tustin Rotary Club where he participates in <br />community service projects. He lives in the North Tustin area, but has been in business <br />in Santa Ana for about 16 years.
