Public Hearing <br />Fiscal Year 2006-07 City Budget <br />June 5, 2006 <br />For fiscal year 2006-07 the City will add three firefighter positions <br />according to the fire personnel's Memorandum of Understanding and a grant <br />funded full-time Fire Battalion Chief position will be added. The City <br />is also adding two administrative/clerical positions and eliminating one <br />full-time clerical position; two full-time code enforcement positions; <br />and two-part time code enforcement positions. <br />The attached resolution amends prior resolutions by adding classification <br />titles and 6-step salary rate range for three positions; title changes <br />without any salary changes; equity salary adjustments to 5 positions; <br />addition of a part-time parking meter maintenance aide and salary range; <br />and the designation of the newly classification titles of Deputy City <br />Engineer and Administrative and Enterprise Services Manager as middle <br />managers at a 15-step salary range. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />With approval of the proposed budget, $482,090,685 will be appropriated <br />to the City's various funds, departments, programs and enterprise <br />activities.
