10:20 P.M. - Councilmember Norton left the meeting. <br /> <br />90.B. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Councilmember Richardson commended the French Park Neighborhood on a successful home <br />tour last weekend. He also requested the City Manager investigate advertisements at bus <br />shelters at the Bristol/Segerstrom intersection and the southwest corner of Bristol/Memory <br />Lane which advertised "tag rags," pro-graffiti clothing. <br /> <br />Councilmember Moreno: <br /> <br />- apologized to the Fire Department staff concerning possible misinterpretation of his <br /> comment that activity during his ride-along with the Fire Department had been slow; <br /> <br />- noted that the graffiti ordinance restricting public access to aerosol containers and large <br /> marker pens had been adopted; <br /> <br />- encouraged the public to attend the Council budget meeting scheduled for 6:00 p.m. <br /> April 15, 1993 in the Library Conference Room; <br /> <br />- requested better enforcement by staff of multiple yard sales at the same location; and, <br /> <br />- asked for support from the Council to solve the problems of the homeless. <br /> <br />Councilmember Mills reported that the recent contract awarded for Jack Fisher Park <br />Improvements came in under bid and asked staff to look into the possibility of using the cost <br />savings to repair the Jack Fisher Park flag pole referred to by Sean Mill (see Minutes page <br />143.) <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT - 10:29 P.M. - To 6:00 p.m., April 15, 1993 in the Library Conference <br /> Room, Santa Ana Library, 26 Civic Center Plaza <br /> <br />/~Clerk of the Council <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 144 APRIL 5, 1993 <br /> <br /> <br />
