FY 93-94 CITY BUDGET AND ANNUAL FEE INCREASES <br />Public hearing to consider the City's Fiscal Year 93-94 Budget and related matters <br />Legal notice published in the Register on April 2, 9, and 16, 1993 <br />Finance and Management Services Executive Director Rod Coloma presented modifications <br />made to the budget noting in particular a proposal by the SEIU to defer a 3 % scheduled <br />salary increase for one year had assisted greatly in balancing the budget. <br />At 6:48 p.m., the Mayor announced the Council would accept additional testimony <br />concerning the City Budget and Fee Increases. <br />The following persons requested clarification and/or expressed concerns regarding various <br />aspects of the budget: <br />Pat Mill, 617 S. Starboard <br />Tony Ingegneri, Metro Display Advertising <br />Thelma Paige, 217 N. Bewley Street <br />Ann Marie Rasmussen, Target Media <br />The Mayor closed the public hearing at 6:59 p.m. and requested that a letter from the <br />Chamber of Commerce dated May 3, 1993 be made a part of the public record relating to <br />the Budget. <br />Motion: 1. Table Ordinance NS-2195. <br />ORDINANCE NS-2195 - An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana amending Section 35-153, and adding Section 35-158.1 to Chapter 35 of <br />the Santa Ana Municipal Code relating to Utility Users Tax - Finance and <br />Management Services <br />Motion: 2.
