Award a contract to Sudhakar Company International, the lowest <br />responsible bidder, in accordance with unit bid prices in the <br />estimated amount of $108,000 to upgrade school crossing signage. <br /> <br />2. Approve a Funding Analysis with a total estimated construction cost <br />of $135,000. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />To comply with the new federal and state sign standards, this proj ect <br />will provide for the replacement of existing school signs with signs with <br />high visibility fluorescent yellow-green color (Exhibit 1). Once <br />completed, the new signs will increase safety for pedestrians. <br /> <br />The Notice Inviting Bids was advertised on May 3 and 5, 2006, and bids <br />were opened on May 24, 2006.
