<br />Less Than Significant Impact <br /> <br />According to the National Register of Historical Resources and <br />the City of Santa Ana Local Register of Historical Resources, <br />there are no historical structures on the project site or within <br />the Brookhollow Office Park. <br /> <br />B. Cause a substantial adverse change in the significance of a <br />unique archaeological resource pursuant to Section 15064.5? <br /> <br />D. Disturb any human remains, including those interred outside <br />of for.mal cemeteries. <br /> <br />C. Directly or indirectly disturb or destroy a unique <br />paleontogical resource or site? <br /> <br />Less Than Significant <br /> <br />The proposed project would be constructed on an improved <br />building site. According to the General Plan Land Use Element <br />EIR, there are no known cultural resources on the project site. <br />Given the fact that the site is improved, the probability for <br />the discovery of unknown cultural resources would be low. <br /> <br />VI. GEOLOGY/SOILS <br /> <br />A-I. Rupture of a known earthquake fault, as delineated on the <br />most recent Alquist-Priolo Earthquake Fault Zoning Map <br />issued by the State geologist for the area or based on <br />other substantial evidence of a known fault? <br /> <br />No Impact <br /> <br />The Seismic Hazards Mapping Act of 1991 established a statewide <br />seismic hazard mapping and technical advisory program to assist <br />cities and counties in protecting the public health and safety <br />from the effects of strong ground shaking, liquefaction, <br />landslides or other ground failure and other seismic hazards <br />caused by earthquakes. Additionally, the Alquist-Priolo Act <br />directs the State Geologist to delineate regulatory zones that <br />encompass surface traces of active faults that have potential <br />for future surface fault rupture to regulate development near <br />active faults in order to mitigate the hazard of surface fault <br />rupture. <br /> <br />The Tustin Quadrangle Official Map of Seismic Hazard Zones dated <br />January 17, 2001 was reviewed to evaluate potential seismic <br />impacts on the proj ect site. According to the Seismic Hazard <br />Zone Map, the project site is not located within a current <br />Alquist-Priolo Earthquake Fault Zone for fault surface rupture <br /> <br />11 <br /> <br />76A~1 <br />
