• The proposed office uses are allowed. <br />Therefore, the proposed project would not be in conflict with <br />the General Plan. <br />Zoning <br />The zoning for the project site is Specific Development SD-8. <br />Presently, SD-8 does not allow general retail uses on the <br />project site. The proposed project would amend Specific <br />Development No. 8 to create a third project area (Area III) that <br />would allow retail, food and office uses on the project site. <br />Indoor entertainment uses would be allowed with an approved <br />conditional use permit. With approval of the amendment the <br />proposed project would not be in conflict with the zoning. <br />C. Conflict with any applicable habitat conservation plan or <br />natural community plan? <br />No Impact <br />According to the City's General Plan, the project site is not <br />included within any habitat conservation plan or any natural <br />community conservation plan. Therefore, implementation of the <br />proposed project would not be in conflict with any habitat <br />conservation plan. <br />X. MINERAL RESOURCES <br />A. Result in the loss of availability of a locally important <br />mineral resource recovery site delineated on a local <br />general plan, specific plan or other land use plan? <br />No Impact <br />According to the City's Updated General Plan Land Use Element <br />EIR, there are no areas in Santa Ana that are designated <br />significant Mineral Aggregate Resource Areas. Therefore, <br />implementation of the proposed project would not result in the <br />loss of any regionally or locally important mineral resource. <br />XI. NOISE <br />Setting <br />The project site is located within the City of Santa Ana and <br />subject to noise standards and guidelines in the General Plan <br />Noise Element and Municipal Code Noise Ordinance. The primary <br />purpose of the City of Santa Ana Noise Element is to "Prevent <br />significant increases in noise levels in the community and <br />21 <br />7~-,~1 <br />
