William Zastrow <br />Battalion Chief <br />Fire Department <br /> <br />Dennis Stueland <br />Captain <br />Fire Department <br /> <br />Fire Chief Bud Carter provided an update on the recent firestorms in Orange County <br />outlining the Fire Department's participation under its mutual aid pact. <br /> <br />PRESENTATIONS <br /> <br />City Seal Plaque presented by MAYOR <br />YOUNG to David Ross recognizing his <br />contributions to the City during his tenure with <br />Great Western Reclamation <br /> <br />"WEED AND SEED" PROJECT DONATIONS AND UPDATE <br /> <br />Open Communications partner Shelly Ervin presented a $1,100 check from her company to <br />the City for use in the "Weed and Seed" Project area. U.S. Attorney Terry Bowers provided <br />a progress report on the Project. Citibank representative Diana Treadway presented a <br />$10,000 check to Civic Center Barrio Housing Board Member Charles Taylor for use in the <br />Project area. Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce President Michael Metzler urged Santa Ana <br />businesses to become more involved in projects such as "Weed and Se.~:t" and to support <br />other City youth programs.
