Walnut, introduced his Santa Ana High School Government Class to <br />the Council and explained that attendance at a City Council meeting was a required element <br />of the class. <br /> <br />Miles Leach, 2025 W. Tenth Street, reiterated his suggestion to require incoming <br />Councilmembers and Board and Commission Members to swear loyalty to the Santa Ana <br />Charter. <br /> <br />Paul Le, 1814 W. Carlton Place, requested the Council to encourage staff to either buy his <br />property at 810 S. Bristol for the Bristol Street Widening Project or allow him to occupy that <br />property for business purposes. <br /> <br />Jim Walker, 3721 S. Ross, invited the Councilmembers to attend the "Great American <br />Smoke Out" promotional campaign to be held at 11:00 a.m. on November 18, 1993 at the <br />Old County Courthouse. <br /> <br />Alex Vega, 1105 N. Spurgeon, requested the Council allow a Christmas Gift Show at <br />Rancho Santiago College for 7-8 days involving approximately one hundred vendors as a <br />one-time event.
