Sweeper parts are replaced in order to maintain sweeper safety and <br />effectiveness. Parts are ordered for inventory stock and immediate in-house <br />repair. Larger repairs and those requiring specialized tools are contracted <br />out to authorized repair facilities, Nixon-Egli Equipment Company is a <br />qualified Southern California repair facility for Mobil/Athey street <br />sweepers. <br /> <br />The notice inviting <br />bids were solicited. <br />as follows: <br /> <br />bids was advertised on May 31 and June 2, 2006, and <br />A summary of the bid invitations and bids received is <br /> <br />3 Invitations For Bid mailed <br />3 Bids received <br /> <br />Bids were received, opened on June 13, 2006, and evaluated (Exhibit 1). <br />The bid received from Nixon-Egli Equipment Company is responsive to the <br />specifications and meets the City's requirements. <br /> <br />220-1 <br />
