Glenwood, Valley High Neighborhood Association President, <br />expressed support for proposed Ordinance NS-2213, a zoning ordinance amendment which <br />would require Conditional Use Permits (CUP's) for restaurants with 24-hour operations <br />adjacent to residential neighborhoods. <br /> <br />Leonardo Nufiez, 1221 E. First St., and Lucia Salinas, 1904 W. First St., expressed concerns <br />regarding the adverse impact of the ordinance on their respective businesses. <br /> <br />Planning and Building Agency Executive Director Robyn Uptegraff explained the specifics of <br />the ordinance, indicating that existing businesses had a two-year period in which to apply for <br />a Permit and would be exempt from Permit fees, and that only the conditions relating to <br />business operations would be evaluated during the permitting process. <br /> <br />Motion: Place ordinance on first reading and authorize publication of title. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 7 JANUARY 3, 1994 <br /> <br /> <br />
