(A2004-260) in the amount of $10,000 for a total <br />aggregate amount not to exceed $40,000 for legal publications and on-line <br />research services. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />On December 20, 2004, City Council approved the execution of an agreement <br />with LexisNexis to provide on-line access for legal research for all City <br />Attorney Office staff. In addition, the LexisNexis service has been a <br />primary provider for legal publications and materials for other City <br />Departments as well. <br /> <br />After reviewing the terms of the agreement approved <br />the City Attorney's Office has determined that <br />agreement amount is necessary to accommodate the <br />services by other City Departments. <br /> <br />by the City in 2004, <br />an increase in the <br />usage of LexisNexis <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br /> <br />Funds are budgeted and available in the City Attorney Other Agency <br />Services account (account no. 11-031-6251). <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FUNDS AND ACCOUNTS: <br /> <br /> <br />,",l\~~'''r.--.. \\ .~:::._ <br />Francisco Gutierrez <br />Executive Director <br />Finance & Management Services AgenC~~ <br /> <br />25F-1 <br />
