<br />COMMENTS <br /> <br />A letter was received from Enrique Legaspi, Vice President and Regional <br />Officer of the Regency Center expressing concerns about plans proposed <br />for the Center in the Renaissance Specific Plan <br /> <br />Art Lomeli addressed the Council relative to the specific plan and <br />requested that the plan give the Downtown Hispanic Business District the <br />ability to enhance its economic strength. Sandra Pena asked that the <br />area's historic and cultural significance be preserved. Gary Hasell noted <br />that the newly constructed pedestrian bridge at the Santa Ana Depot will <br />facilitate pedestrian traffic in the area. <br /> <br />COMMENTS <br /> <br />90A PUBLIC COMMENTS - None <br /> <br />90.B. CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Councilmember Christv <br />. Asked Deputy Fire Chief Steve Critchfield to present a report on the <br />dangers of overcrowding at the next City Council meeting <br />.
