Imprv. <br />Aide <br />Roy Uno reported the formation of an Asian Pacific Advisory Committee of Santa Ana to <br />address the needs of this diverse ethnic group which includes Cambodians, Laotians, <br />Samoans, Hmongs, and Guamanians, among others. He invited the Councilmembers to <br />attend the meetings of the Committee at 9:30 a.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at <br />the Southwest Senior Center. <br />Mayor Young acknowledged receipt of a communication from Margaret Farris who thanked <br />him for his attention to her request. <br />90.B. CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS <br />Councilmember Moreno commended Captain Bruce Carlson on the Police Department's <br />effective prevention of "cruising" on Bristol Street. He requested additional Police <br />enforcement directed toward prostitutes along First Street in the Saddleback View <br />neighborhood. <br />Councilmember McGuigan reported the City's sprinklers on the west side of First Street at <br />Harbor were overwatering. <br />Councilmember Richardson requested: <br />- the status of a petition for permit parking in the 500 block of Parton Street <br />in Heninger Park; <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 202 JULY 18, 1994 <br />
