- staff communicate the City's dissatisfaction regarding Caltrans' street closure <br />procedures for the I-5 widening and its failure to expeditiously remove debris <br />in the aftermath of the widening; and <br />- Firefighter Jim Albers be recognized at a future Council meeting for his <br />outstanding coordination of the "burns" on Bristol Street conducted by the <br />National Institute of Standards and Technology. <br />Mayor Young requested Recreation and Community Services Executive Director Allen Doby <br />investigate the "Inner City Games" program promoted by Arnold Schwarzenegger for <br />possible replication in Santa Ana. <br />CLOSED SESSION - SCHEDULE <br />The Brown Act permits the City Council to discuss certain matters without members of the <br />public present, provided the items to be discussed are posted 72 hours prior to the City Council <br />meeting.
