Attachment A <br />FY05 HOMELAND SECURITY GRANT PROGRAM <br />Prevention (CDC) Bioterrorism Cooperative Agreement and the Health <br />Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) National Bioterrorism <br />Hospital Preparedness Program. For further information on these two HHS <br />programs, please refer to <br />http://www.bt.cdc.gov/r)lanning/continuationquidance/index.asl2 and <br />http://www.hrsa.gov/bioterrorism/. <br />• Current efforts to institutionalize statewide training and exercise programs in <br />support of the state homeland security strategy. <br />• Current and planned efforts to educate the public and to encourage citizen <br />participation in prevention, preparedness, and response activities through <br />Citizen Corps. <br />PART Il: Resource Allocation. Please provide an estimate of HSGP funds and <br />state resources to be allocated for HSGP program management over the 30- <br />month HSGP performance period following the format below. Other funding <br />sources should also be described. EMPG Program Narrative and Budget. Grantees must maintain and expand any <br />necessary capabilities to sustain an effective emergency management program. <br />These capabilities must be able to address all - hazards emergencies. To help <br />assess these capabilities, the FY05 HSGP requires that all EMPG award recipients <br />submit a narrative as a part of the HSGP application.
