Approve an appropriation adjustment acceptin funds in the amount of <br />$70,000 into the Select Street Construction Fund (account no. 59-01- <br />5790) and appropriating funds to the Select Street Construction Fund <br />(account no. 59-551-6631). <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />Main Street between Eighteenth Street and Avenue has been <br />identified as a high priority on the City's P vement Management System <br />(Exhibit 1). The pavement is deteriorating due 0 weather, age and heavy <br />usage. Some of the adjacent curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and driveway <br />approaches are also in various state of disrep ir. The project provides <br />for construction of new street pavement and replacement of damaged <br />concrete curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and driveway approaches. <br />Additionally, a new traffic signal will be installed at the entrance to <br />the new Bowers Museum parking lot. <br /> <br />In addition to the work on Main Street, pavement improvements on 19th and <br />20th Streets are included in this project a part of the Steadfast <br />development. Funds in the amount of $70,000 have been received from <br />Steadfast for these improvements. Staff is re esting the appropriation <br />adjustment to recognize these funds in the proje t. <br /> <br />23B-1 <br />
