This contract included maintenance f medians, neighborhood <br />monument/entry areas, water reservoir facilities and arterial sidewalk <br />areas citywide. <br /> <br />Staff solicited proposals for maintenance servic Eight proposals were <br />sent out and two firms submitted proposals. committee comprised of <br />Public Works Agency staff reviewed the proposals. The final scores for <br />the two firms are as follows: <br /> <br />Firm <br /> <br />Score <br /> <br />Routi e Maintenance Fee <br /> <br />1. Midori Gardens <br /> <br />99 <br /> <br />2. TruGreen Landcare <br /> <br />84 <br /> <br />$447,876 <br /> <br />$642,000 <br /> <br />The firms were rated based on capability, rience, similar related <br />performance and cost. Based on the above staff recommends a <br />three-year agreement with Midori Gardens with two optional one-year <br />extensions.
