Guy: None <br /> <br />The following persons spoke in opposition to the proposed CDBG modification: <br /> <br /> Florence Leach <br /> Edmundo Cardenas <br /> George Estrada <br /> <br />Rick Rodriguez expressed concern that recreation and park projects would be impacted due to <br />the need to use future CDBG funds for loan repayments. <br /> <br />The Mayor closed the public hearing at 8:57 p.m. <br /> <br />In response to Councilmember Moreno, City Manager David Ream clarified that social service <br />programs funded under the Community Development Block Grant budget would not be <br />impacted by the Section 108 loan, stated that other resources were available for park projects, <br />and suggested that unused Delhi Park project funds could be transferred to the Memorial Park <br />project. <br /> <br />Motion: 1.
