ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW PROCESS <br /> <br />Environmental Coordinator Maya deRosa briefly reviewed the California Environmental Quality <br />Act (CEQA) and the National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA) and noted their overall <br />purpose was to protect the environment for the future. She explained the differences between the <br /> <br />documents used to determine environmental impacts of a project o- Categorical Exemption, <br />Negative Declaration, and Environmental Impact Report (in ascending order of stringency).
