The station houses one engine company, <br />one truck company, one medic unit and one Battalion Chief and his aide for <br />a total of 11 personnel and is in use 24 hours a day, seven days a week. <br />The existing kitchen cabinets have been in use for over 28 years and have <br />deteriorated due to normal daily usage. The recommended action will <br />provide new cabinets and additional storage space. <br /> <br />Nine Invitations For Bid were sent to various vendors and only The Home <br />Depot attended a mandatory pre-bid meeting. Subsequently, The Home Depot <br />submitted an informal proposal directly to the Fire Department. No formal <br />responses were received.
