BUSINESS CALENDAR <br /> <br />AGREEMENTS <br /> <br />25.F. <br /> <br />DELHI PARK IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br />Recreation and Community Services Executive Director Allen Doby and McLarend/Vasquez Inc. <br />Principal Architect Ernie Vasquez, the Project Design Consultant, gave a slide presentation on the <br />Delhi Park Project. <br /> <br />The following individuals spoke in support of the Delhi Park Project. <br /> <br />Bob Silva, Monroe Elementary School Principal <br />Nicolas Mufioz, Orange County Congregation Community Organization (OCCCO) <br />Olivia Quintana, OCCCO <br />Catalina Mufioz, OCCCO <br />Al Chavez, Delhi Center <br />Irene Martinez, Delhi Center <br />Beatriz Vasquez <br /> <br />In response to inquiries from the above speakers, City Manager David Ream announced that <br />Mayor Pulido and City staffwould be attending a scheduled June 15, 1995 community meeting to <br />discuss the implementation of the Delhi Park Project. Ream then related the project's funding and <br />construction timeline, and reaffirmed the City's commitment to complete the 31,000-square foot <br />project estimated to cost some $4 million on a timely basis. <br /> <br />Councilmember Moreno commended staff on the City's innovative plan to contract out the <br />Community Center's operations to a non-profit organization that has been working in the <br />neighborhood for decades. <br /> <br />Motion: 1.
