One of the ctitical fitst items of work will be to establish a
detailed conceptual alignment, similar to what is shown in
the RFP Exhibit "B" (see Exhibit I), showing the precise
alignment of all of the proposed striping, raised medians
(setting left turn pocket lengths), parkway curb lines, bus bay
turnouts, sidewalks, landscaped parkways, existing I proposed
right-oF-way lines and required right-oF-way acquisitions
(including both partial takes and full takes). There will likely be several design alternatives at various locations
throughout the project, with the intent of minimizing or consolidating impacts on existing properties, such as
considering symmetrical cul-de-sac bulbs versus a cul-de-sac bulbs with an off-set to one side.

The Harris Team intends to impress City staff, and establish a firm foundation for the project, by developing a
sound conceptual alignment that incorporates all of the various city goals to enhance vehicular and pedestrian
circulation as well as significantly the improve project area aesthetics. A presentation worthy colored exhibit will
be prepared to clearly illustrate the various design elements and layouts for City staff's use at various city council,
planning and community meetings. Once
City staff has approved the conceptual
alignment we will be well positioned to
make simultaneous progress on all of the
project design elements at an accelerated
pace.

.
,

~
~

,-:,'. ,:~{rpstill-a continuous'
"acorn':_~ryle pedestrian
lig~til}g,)~e
.
