Funding Allocations for HUD <br />HOPWA FY 06-07 <br />July 3, 2006 <br />Page 2 <br />exceed $12,000 to administer the wait list for the Tenant-Based <br />Rental Assistance Program. <br />COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AND HOUSING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION <br />1. Recommended that the City Council: <br />a) Direct the City Attorney to prepare and authorize the City <br />Manager and the Clerk of the Council to execute an agreement <br />between the City of Santa Ana and the Housing Authority of the <br />City of Santa Ana, in the amount of $550,000 for the <br />implementation of the Tenant-Based Rental Assistance Program. <br />b) Direct the City Attorney to prepare and authorize the City <br />Manager and the Clerk of the Council to execute an agreement <br />with the County of Orange Health Care Agency in the amount of <br />$789,000 to continue to provide supportive housing services to <br />HIV/AIDS individuals in the County of Orange. <br />2. Recommended that the Housing Authority: <br />a) Direct the Authority General Counsel to prepare and authorize <br />the Executive Director of the Housing Authority to execute an <br />agreement between the City of Santa Ana and the Housing <br />Authority of the City of Santa Ana, in the amount of $550, 000 <br />for the implementation of the Tenant-Based Rental Assistance <br />Program. <br />b) Direct the Authority General Counsel to prepare and authorize <br />the Executive Director of the Housing Authority to execute an <br />agreement with AIDS Service Foundation Orange County in an <br />amount not to exceed $12,000 to administer the wait list for <br />the Tenant-Based Rental Assistance Program. <br />By a vote of 6:0 (Yanez absent) at its Regular Meeting of June 20, 2006. <br />80A-2 <br />
