Direct the City Attorney to prepare and authorize the City Manager <br />and the Clerk of the Council to execute an agreement with Taller San <br />Jose of Santa Ana to provide paid training in the construction field <br />and other vocational training in an amount of $119,835. <br /> <br />2. Direct the City Attorney to prepare and authorize the City Manager <br />and the Clerk of the Council to execute an agreement with the <br />California Hispanic Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse (a.k.a. La <br />Familia) to assist youth with substance abuse problems and finding <br />jobs in an amount of $113,136. <br /> <br />3. Direct the City Attorney to prepare and authorize the City Manager <br />and the Clerk of the Council to execute an agreement with the Orange <br />County Conservation Corps to provide paid on-the-j ob training to <br />high school dropouts in an amount of $198,666. <br /> <br />4. Direct the City Attorney to prepare and authorize the City Manager <br />and the Clerk of the Council to execute an agreement with the Santa <br />Ana Unified School District to provide mentoring and paid work <br />experience to in-school youth in an amount of $141,524. <br /> <br />5. Direct the City Attorney to prepare and authorize the City Manager <br />and the Clerk of the Council to execute an agreement with the Orange <br />County Therapeutic Arts Center to provide educational training and <br />leadership skills to local youth in an amount of $35,640. <br /> <br />6. Direct the City Attorney to prepare and authorize the City Manager <br />and the Clerk of the Council to execute an agreement with the Santa <br />Ana W/O/R/K Center (Service Navigator) to coordinate youth service <br />provider network services in an amount of $92,910. <br /> <br />258-1 <br />
