<br />Third Amendment To Agreement <br />With Dougherty + Dougherty For <br />City Facility Improvements <br />September 5, 2006 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />Drastic increases in material costs have severely affected the total <br />proj ect budget. Addi tionally, the scope of work to be performed for <br />these proj ects requires specialized contractors. As a result the labor <br />costs are much higher than originally anticipated. Staff recommends the <br />additional $350,000 in order to account for these unforeseen cost <br />increases. <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br /> <br />There is no environmental impact associated with this action. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br /> <br />Funds for the proposed improvements are available in the UASI Grant Fund <br />(account no. 125-320 & 125-067 various object accounts). <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FUNDS AND ACCOUNTS: <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />~James G.
