(See Minutes page <br />36.) <br /> <br />***END OF CONSENT CALENDAR~'** <br /> <br />BUSINESS CALENDAR <br /> <br />Scott Morgan, speaking on behalf of the Santa Aha Historical Preservation Society, thanked the <br />Council for approving the purchase of the historic Dr. Howe-Waffle House site (Item 30.B.). <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />Neighborhood association representatives Ed McKie (French Court) and Debbie McEwen <br />(French Park) expressed concern that the January 16th Council action directing staffto increase <br />on-street parking on Main Street would bring increased traffic, noise, and pollution to <br />neighborhoods adjacent to Main Street. (See Minutes page 21.) <br /> <br />Councilmember Moreno related his intention to vote No on the above item, his objection to <br />taking the action outside of the Council Chambers, and his ultimate decision to abstain on the <br />matter.
