Award a contract Hardy & Harper, Inc., the lowest responsible bidder, <br />in accordance with unit bid prices in an amount not to exceed <br />$399,450.50 for construction of the 2006/2007 Omnibus Concrete <br />Replacement Contract. <br />2. Approve a Funding Analysis with a total estimated construction cost <br />of $499,500. <br />DISCUSSION <br />This project will provide for replacement of damaged and deteriorated <br />concrete sidewalks, curbs, gutters, cross gutters, wheelchair ramps, <br />driveway approaches, and concrete pavement at various locations <br />throughout the City. The work will be performed on an as-needed basis. <br />The Notice Inviting Bids was advertised on July 31 and August 2, 2006 and <br />bids were opened on August 24, 2006.
