During these repairs <br />areas of leakage were disCovered in' seyerar:~~tOtJdary tompdiients that will require an <br />underground access for component replacemE:!ntor repair not discovered or included in <br />the original proposal. The followinginfqrin~~ign is 'provided that will outline those <br />construction type repairs for each tank system. . This work will require plans, permits <br />and approval by the Santa Ana Are Dept. ,,'d <br /> <br />DIESEL / UNLEADED FUEL SYSTEM <br />The three unleaded sump piping termination entries were not repairable above ground <br />dUl:l to various r~sons. fhe vapor recover piping enters the sump at such an extreme <br />angle that prohi!)iJ;s efforts to install a new replacement fitting. The local CUPA will not <br />allow an entryangl~ greater than fifteen d~rees that this far exceeds. The product <br />and vent line piping were cut to short for the installation of new sump penetration <br />boots. It will be necessary to excavate outside the containment sump to these piping <br />locations to correct the piping entry angle and extend the piping inside the sump. <br /> <br />Scope of Work <br />o Generate plans, applications and submittal package to CUPA and City of Santa Ana <br />concerned regulatory agencies; obtain permit approvals <br />o At the unleaded sump manhole area saw cut concrete, break out, remove and haul <br />away. .' <br />o Hand dig, excavating to expose the piping. <br />o Disconnect vapor, vent and product piping from inside Sllmp <br />o Cut out adequate section of each piping tUn <br />o Provide and install 450 primary connector on vapor recol/ery piping to enter into <br />sump at the proper angle. <br />o Provide and install new 2" sump penetration entry fitting <br />o Fiberglass patch sump wall at prior vapor entry <br />~ PrOvide and installZ" and 3" fiberglass piping extension~; on prodUct piping. <br /> <br />951.677.0704 Fax 951.698.5436 688.293.5944 <br /> <br />ATTACHMENT 3 <br />
