<br />RTC Metrolink Extension Studies <br />October 16, 2006 <br />Page 3 of 3 <br /> <br />recommends that the City execute an amendment to the agreement with PB to <br />provide consultant support services to conduct the Metrolink extension <br />studies that will meet the various Federal transit agencies' guidelines. <br />This will enable Santa Ana to complete Step one of the Go Local Program <br />and have a project (s) ready for submittal for Step two which makes <br />available $30 million for further development of the most promising <br />projects. <br /> <br />As stated previously, <br />services to complete <br />contract is estimated <br /> <br />the additional $200,000 will be used for consultant <br />Step one of the Go Local program. The amended <br />at total contract amount not-to-exceed $354,000. <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br /> <br />There is no environmental impact associated with this action. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br /> <br />Upon approval of the appropriation adjustment, funds available in Measure <br />M Transit Funds (account no. 32-01-5053) will be appropriated to the <br />City-Initiated Metrolink Extension Studies project account (account no. <br />32-551-6631, project no. 06-2502). <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FUNDS AND ACCOUNTS: <br /> <br />',~$ <br /> <br />.1) James G.
