Councilmember McGuigan reported while visiting the City of Phoenix, she was made aware of a <br />neighborhood campaign regarding an upcoming Phoenix City Council action, and noted local <br />government processes were similar everywhere. <br /> <br />Councilmember Lutz expressed congratulations to Sage Major on attaining his Eagle Scout award <br />and explained Major's Scout project was to convert over 60 literary works by Santa Ana High <br />School students to tape for use by the Braille Institute. <br /> <br />Councilmember Franklin indicated he was honored to serve on the City Council and expressed his <br />intentions to work with his Council colleagues, City staff, and the neighborhoods to arrive at <br />solutions to community problems. <br /> <br />Mayor Pulido and several other Councilmembers joined in welcoming Franklin to the Council. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT- 7:14 P.M. <br />Clerk of the Council <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MlNUTES 364 DECEMBER 2, 1996 <br /> <br /> <br />
