CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS/VARIANCES/PARKING WAIVERS <br /> <br />Filed by RESCO Properties to allow relief from commercial development <br />requirements for landscaping and parking in order to allow a medical facility in the <br />Community Commercial (C 1 and R1-B) zoning district - Planning and Building <br />Agency <br />Planning Commission Action: Approval FILE CA <br /> <br />Councilmember Moreno opined that Variance 97-04, which allows both insufficient parking and <br />landscaping, constituted an unacceptable deviation from City standards and urged the Council to <br />deny the variance. <br /> <br />In response to Councilmember Moreno's query, Executive Director Planning and Building <br />Agency Executive Director Robyn Uptegraffexplained the Planning Commission vote (3/1 to <br />approve with two abstentions and one member absent) on the variance, and noted variance <br />conditions had been modified since the original submission. <br /> <br />Deny Variance 97-04.
