<br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING DATE: <br /> <br /> <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL USE ONLY: <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br /> <br />NOVEMBER 20, 2006 <br />TITLE: <br /> <br />APPROVED <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT FOR <br />HABITAT CONSERVATION FUND PROGRAM <br />GRANT AWARD <br /> <br />o As Recommended <br />o As Amended <br />o Ordinance on 151 Reading <br />o Ordinance on 2nd Reading <br />o Implementing Resolution <br />o Set Public Hearing For <br /> <br />QdwA1~~ <br />c- CIT ANAGER <br /> <br />CONTINUED TO <br /> <br />FILE NUMBER <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br /> <br />Approve an appropriation adjustment recognizing $100,000 in State of <br />California Habitat Conservation Fund Program grant funds in revenue <br />account (account no. 169-01-5378-1) and appropriate same to the Habitat <br />Conservation Fund Program expenditure account (account no. 169-268-6631), <br />and recognize and appropriate $102,500 in matching Park Acquisition and <br />Development funds. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />The City of Santa Ana Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency was <br />successful in receiving a $100,000 Habitat Conservation Fund Program grant <br />from the State of California Department of Parks and Recreation for the <br />enhancement of the Santiago Trailhead entrance into the Santiago Park <br />Nature Reserve.
