Stark, <br />property owner, for the structure located at 2315 North Riverside Drive. <br /> <br />HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION ACTION <br /> <br />Recommended that the City Council direct the City Attorney to prepare and <br />authorize the City Manager and the Clerk of the Council to execute an <br />agreement with Amy L. Stark, property owner, for the structure located at <br />2315 North Riverside Drive at its October 5, 2006 meeting by a vote of <br />8:0 (Seeley absent). <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />After the public hearing on October 5, 2006, the Historic Resources <br />Commission reviewed the proposed Historic Property Preservation Agreement <br />(Mills Act Contract) and concluded that the resulting potential property <br />tax savings would encourage the owner to reinvest the tax savings in the <br />maintenance of their historic property, and would benefit both the owner <br />and the community (Exhibit A). Addi tionally, the agreement prevents <br />inappropriate alterations. <br /> <br />250-1 <br />
