<br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING DATE: <br /> <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br /> <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL USE ONLY: <br /> <br />NOVEMBER 20, 2006 <br />TITLE: <br /> <br />APPROVED <br /> <br />o As Recommended <br />o As Amended <br />o Ordinance on 15t Reading <br />o Ordinance on 2nd Reading <br />o Implementing Resolution <br />o Set Public Hearing For <br /> <br />AGREEMENT WITH SANTA ANA UNIFIED <br />SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR USE OF <br />MEMORIAL PARK POOL <br /> <br />~~'F <br /> <br />CONTINUED TO <br /> <br />FILE NUMBER <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br /> <br />Direct the City Attorney to prepare and authorize the City Manager and <br />Clerk of the Council to execute an agreement with the Santa Ana Unified <br />School District for the use of Memorial Park pool. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />This school year, the Santa Ana Unified School District is renovating <br />Valley High School. For one year, the students have been temporarily <br />moved to the new Hector Godinez High School, which does not have an <br />aquatics facility. The School District has requested the use of Memorial <br />Park pool to conduct the Valley High swimming and water polo programs. <br />This agreement will allow for the School District to continue their <br />aquatics programs for the remainder of the school year.
