Include design, materials, condition, alterations, size, setting, and boundaries.)
This one and one-half story residence of rectangular plan showcases the Tudor Revival style. Clad in stucco, the house is
capped by a front- and side-gabled roof of medium pitch. Accented by decorative half-timbering in the gable end, the north
wing is front-gabled and contains a pair of multi paned casement windows on the upper story and a band of wood-framed,
casement windows and a slightly recessed entryway topped by a smaller front-gable on the lower level. Three brick stairs
lead up to the entry, which is framed byherringbone-patterned brick piers outlined in wood that forms a continuous line with
the half-timbering above it. The south half of the fagade is faced with brick and features a prominent brick chimney, with two
diagonal chimney stacks characteristic of the Tudor-Revival style. Paired, wood-framed casement windows, topped with
front-gables accented with wood surrounds, flank the chimney. Original, wood-framed, casement windows in a variety of
configurations, with projecting wood sills, are irregularly arranged on the north and south elevations, some adorned with
decorative shutters. The house retains a substantial degree of integrity; alterations include the additions of awnings and
aluminum-framed window screens and composition shingle roof. A noncontributive, stucco-clad garage is located in the
northeast corner of the property.
*P3b. Resource Attributes: (list attributes and codes) HP2. Single-family Property
*P4.
